History and Tourist Destinations of Erzincan Province


Located in the upper part of the Euphrates in the Eastern Anatolia Region, Erzincan is one of the oldest cultural centers of Anatolia. Located on the historical silk road route, the city was dominated by Hittite, Urartu, Med, Pers, Hellen, Roman, and after the Malazgirt Victory, it became Turkish and Ottoman dominated.
